CK Publishing

WebGuild

Webguild Media Logo In May 2004, CK Publishing changed its name to WebGuild Media. This was the final step in the company's move away from book and magazine publishing, and into the world of websites. Early in the life of CK Publishing, the company was called upon to provide websites for fellow publishing company, Carcanet Press.

The software that was written for Carcanet to allow them to keep their site up to date with the minimum of fuss, was WebGuild.

As a result of the popularity and success of WebGuild, and the increasing difficulty with selling books in an ever shrinking market, the decision was taken to move away from books altogether. Now called WebGuild Media, the company is proud to be able to supply easy-to-use website creation software and hosting packages to writers, publisher, netball teams, churches and a range of small businesses.
